(6/12) By Love In You

And every movement brings a flutter
Like piano tips on hands of string
Casting shadows on the ground with a delicate breeze
Churning, yearning, God Almighty!
Forbidden! Hidden!
Beneath layers of spinning spiders and anxious anguish
Choking back thoughts and racing through words of peculiar meanings
And I can’t speak what’s on my tongue
A bitter taste that’s not quite your favorite song
Acidic feelings beyond a poisonous purpose
And I can’t feel my hands twiddling in the frames of gravity
Reaching for the stars in your constellations
Seeking the cure in my sinful adorations
But only grasping the strands of beautiful imperfections
Blossoming from your cardiac caverns
And a dead-watt smile
Divinely split by love in you
Forever stolen by love in you

My birthday cake! It was blue cake with purple frosting!

(12/9) Here I Am

Weeping flower in her garden view
“Shady lady, silent in your doom, watch over me…”
Sing me to sleep in the emptiness of my grave
Sweet canticle with no sound at all
“Phantom child, I hear your breathing…”
Hush. Hush. Free fall with surrender.
So close to sleepless walks in the pouring laughter
Deranged fair lady, send me to dreams
Sympathetic manipulation in your hands
“Here I am, here I am, won’t you get me?”

Stubborn Sir cries on his insomnia pyre
“Show me the darkness, Knightly Fool, cancer comes soon…”
Shut my eyes for the black smoke eternity shedding its light on me
With the doom and gloom of childish nights, drunken fights, let me die
“Unborn son, you’re no longer breathing…”
Tick. Tick. Kaboom goes you.
Breathing remains for the living dead on the street corner surface, dear lad.
Doctor! Doctor, show me to the end.
Bless the hands that lie stationary in stone
“Here I am, here I am, won’t you get me?”

December glow by the hollow graves
And no words are spoken
The bedtime rhymes of knights and ladies cease to speak
Silence shouts from the frozen ground
Eerie nothing with the loudest voice of all
“Phantom lady. Unborn sir…. we hear your silence…”
And the hushed wind is restless with gravitational rebellion
Sleeping tightly in depression’s curse, trapped strangers lie
Sweet surrender beneath our shoeless feet
“Here I am, here I am, won’t you get me?”

Not finished yet… the nose looks weird

(10/3) Sister, Sister

“Sister, sister,
How we’ve grown tried in our cobwebs
Waiting for prey other than each other
We thirst for the day we bow down to our dust bowl mother
‘From dust you came, and unto dust you shall return’
Ashtray eulogies with a side of submissive terrorism!”

“Drink yourself until Hell calls your splintered name
On your zero gravity pyre of sinful indulgence
Float down stream to the land of the abandoned souls
Dress up in black lace kerosine and cocaine pearls
Be like me, not like them, sing yourself to doom
Tell ‘em Lucy sent you”

“Now, sister dearest
Tell me your poisons and I’ll please you
What’s killing you deep down underneath?
Is it I? Is it I?
Am I the slaughterer of your childhood purity?
Am I the monster beneath your pillow at night?”

“Hush hush, please don’t scream
Deathbed dreams only last for the night
Are we wicked or are we just deranged spirits on the open breeze?
Take my hand, choke to breathe
Let the world spin you round until you sing
Close your eyes, now, and embrace my goodnight kiss”
